Wednesday Homeschool Classes

The museum offers periodic Wednesday afternoon classes for homeschool students. Classes are taught by museum educators or volunteers who are skilled in the topic. Topics range from agriculture to history to hands-on skills like weaving. Classes run from 2:30-4 pm. Cost is $3 per student.

What did the Spanish bring with them when they came to New Mexico? What did they eat? How did they get their food? How did they use the resources that were already here? What did they do in their spare time? Come explore daily life during the colonial period this month at one of our Discovery Afternoons.
